Conference scope: All topics related to the sustainable development of multinational enterprises are welcome.
2026 thematic focus: Multinational Enterprises, Sustainability and Responsibility in Times of Crisis.
Submissions may be made to either a 2026 Special Focus track (SF1-SF5) or a General MESD track (G1-G8).
Preparing the extended abstract
- Write the submission in English.
- Clearly identify one intended conference track: a Special Focus track (SF1-SF5) or a General MESD track (G1-G8). Use G8 - Open and Interdisciplinary MESD Track when the contribution fits the broad conference scope but not another track naturally.
- Prepare one extended abstract of no more than 1,500 words; no separate short abstract or full paper is required.
- Include the conference track, title, author information, keywords, research context, research question or purpose, methodology or approach, findings or expected insights, contribution, limitations and APA 7 references.
- Ensure that the submission is original and has not been previously published, accepted or presented elsewhere.
- Research in progress may be submitted.
Best-practice contributions
A submission identified as Best practice follows the same 1,500-word extended-abstract format and document requirements. Its structure may be adapted to present the organizational context and challenge, the practice or initiative, the implementation process, results and evidence of impact, lessons learned and transferability, and the contribution to the MESD field, together with limitations and next steps.
Participation requirement
At least one author of each accepted paper must register for and attend the conference.
