Conference scope: All topics related to the sustainable development of multinational enterprises are welcome.
2026 thematic focus: Multinational Enterprises, Sustainability and Responsibility in Times of Crisis.
Submissions may be made to either a 2026 Special Focus track (SF1-SF5) or a General MESD track (G1-G8).
Preparing the extended abstract
- Write the submission in English.
- Clearly identify one intended conference track: a Special Focus track (SF1-SF5) or a General MESD track (G1-G8). Use G8 - Open and Interdisciplinary MESD Track when the contribution fits the broad conference scope but not another track naturally.
- Prepare one extended abstract of no more than 1,500 words; no separate short abstract or full paper is required.
- Include the conference track, title, author information, keywords, research context, research question or purpose, methodology or approach, findings or expected insights, contribution, limitations and APA 7 references.
- Ensure that the submission is original and has not been previously published, accepted or presented elsewhere.
- Research in progress may be submitted.
Participation requirement
At least one author of each accepted paper must register for and attend the conference.
Official online submission: use the MESD'26 submission portal. The system records the submission metadata, uploads the extended abstract and issues a unique submission ID.
Submission dates: submissions open on 15 August 2026 and close on 15 October 2026. Decisions are issued on a rolling basis, with final notifications no later than 30 October 2026. See the Important Dates page. Authors must upload both a DOCX file and a matching PDF file.
