Conference focus

The 2009 MESD Conference focuses on the issue of Strategies for Sustainable Technologies and Innovations. This event, an excellent opportunity to discuss and address questions at the core of sustainable strategic management.

Who should participate ?

We invite academics, research-oriented practitioners, experts, consultants and other professionals in the area of Sustainable Development, and encourage the participation of individuals whose role is to influence the future strategies used by their businesses. The Conference may be especially interesting for various representatives from multinational companies: Senior Executives in Sustainable Development, Resource Management, and/or Strategic Planning. This conference has also been designed to address the needs of Governmental and Legislative Bodies, the UN, and Non-Governmental Organizations. We welcome paper proposals from research faculty, business and policy practitioners, as well as advanced graduate students, which address the broad topics and themes identified below.

Conference format

The conference format will enable you to participate in several different ways. Conference activities will include:

• Presentation of scientific papers (plenary and tracs' sessions),
• Presentation of "Best Practices" papers (plenary and tracks' sessions),
• Round-table discussions,
• Keynote speakers,
• Exhibitors
• Social Events (Gala, visits, ...)

The abstracts of accepted scientific and "Best Practices" papers will all be made available to participants through the conference website before the conference opens . The full papers will be distributed during the conference on a USB Key.

General policies

The language of the MESD2009 International Conference and all submissions is English. In order to provide high quality english papers, people coming from non-english speaking countries, are invited to submit their papers to American Journal Experts web site prior to submit to the on line conference management content system. Submissions to MESD 2009 must be original . We do not accept papers that have already been published or accepted in a journal or conference proceedings, nor presented at another conference. Please do not submit papers that are currently under consideration for publication or presentation elsewhere.

To encourage broad participation, the program committee discourages multiple appearances by the same individual on the program. Participants are requested to make no more than two submissions. Furthermore, participants are limited to only two appearances as a significant presenter in the MESD Conference Program.

At least one author of every accepted submission must register for the conference.
