Once I complete my registration, when will I receive confirmation?
An email confirmation is sent automatically for registrations processed online. For faxed or
mailed in registrations, an email confirmation is sent 3 – 5 business days after the registration
form has been received and processed.
How do I make a change in my registration selections once I've registered?
To make any changes to your registration please contact the conference registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are there any meals included in the registration fee?
Yes. Coffee service will be offered in the mornings. Lunch is offered on November 5 and 6.
If I am a presenter, do I have to register?
Yes. ALL participants must register and pay the applicable registration fees, including paper presenters, session moderators and conference committee
I need a Visa to travel. How do I obtain a letter of invitation?
Complete the Letter of Invitation form and return to the Conference Registrar at
email@example.com. Please be informed that you will have to pay the
registration fee in advance before you will receive a letter of invitation. As visa requirements
can take several weeks, attendees should apply no later than 3 months prior to the conference.
Can I pay after I attend the conference?
No. Registration forms cannot be processed until payment is received in full.
Can I register and pay onsite?
Yes, but payment will be accepted in cash only. Registration credentials will only be issued once full payment is made.
I don’t have a credit card, can I pay by bank transfer?
Yes. Contact the MESD office to receive bank transfer instructions. Upon completion of the
transfer, fax or email the registration form and proof of the transfer to the MESD office for
What’s the last day for conference registration?
The last day for conference registration via the website, call in or fax is, October
30th, 2009. On-site registration will be available starting Wednesday, November 4th.
If my plans change and I'm unable to attend this conference, what are my options?
Please notify the MESD conference registrar as soon as you know you will not be able to attend
so that you can receive the maximum refund allowed. For the best value, see if you can find a
colleague to attend in your place to avoid cancellation fees.
What if I’d like to bring a guest?
Guest tickets are available for the welcome reception, Gala and social events only. You can pay for
your guest ticket(s) in advance or purchase them at the conference.
I have special dietary needs how can I request special meals?
Please indicate your request on your registration form prior to the conference. Onsite
requests may not be able to be filled due to limited timeframes.
Are the conference proceedings included in my registration?
YES. Conference proceedings offered on a keystick are included in your registration.
